Terrorist group "Ansar ash-Sharia" declared about self-dissolution

The Libyan terrorist group Ansar Al-Shariya, whose members are accused of attacking the US Consulate in Benghazi in 2012, announced its dissolution, Reuters reported.

According to the US prosecutor's office, Ansar ash-Sharia was preparing terrorist attacks against the United States. One of the alleged members of the group Ahmed Abu Hatallah is accused in the US of organizing an attack on the US consulate in Benghazi in September 2012, which killed four Americans, including the US ambassador to Libya.
