Putin allowed the FSB to seize the land for state needs
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that gives the Federal Security Service the right to seize the land or the buildings built for it for state needs. The corresponding document is published on the official portal of legal information.

The decree amends the provision on the FSB. The document comes into force from the date of signing.
Earlier it was reported that the tasks of the FSB involve the seizure of land and real estate, not only for construction and reconstruction, but also for fulfilling Russia's international obligations. The new norm was supposed to be introduced in order to protect and protect the state border.
In late March, the Federal Security Service received similar powers. Before that, FSO could only use land for an unlimited period of time.
